Netflix has officially released the title for Dan Levy’s new Netflix show and also unveiled some recurring and supporting cast members for the upcoming crime comedy series. The streamer announced that Levy’s series will officially be titled Big Mistakes, with Levy set to star and showrun alongside a star-studded cast of regulars. Netflix has also confirmed that Big Mistakes has begun production in New Jersey, though it’s unclear at this time when the series will be released — the most likely window is 2026. You can also find a batch of behind-the-scenes images from the series below.
Starring alongside Levy is Jack Innanen, best known for his roles in Adults and The Office Movers. Innanen will play Max in Big Mistakes. Also set to star in series regular roles are Boran Kuzum (Thank You, Next, Bihter: A Forbidden Passion) as Yusuf, and Abby Quinn (Hell of a Summer, Knock at the Cabin) as Natalie. A step-down from the series regulars in recurring roles stars Elizabeth Perkins (Weeds, Sharp Objects) as Annette, Jacob Gutierrez (Dear Edward, Bull) as Tareq, Joe Barbara (Just in Time, FBI) as Mike, Josh Fadem (Better Call Saul, Twin Peaks) as Ashley, and Mark Ivanir (Emilia Pérez, Zero Day) as Ivan. Previously announced cast includes Levy, Taylor Ortega (Another Simple Favor), and Laurie Metcalf (Scream 2).
Big Mistakes will consist of eight episodes, and it follows two deeply incapable siblings who are blackmailed into the world of organized crime. This is the first series with Levy and Netflix after he signed his overall deal with the streamer. Levy is best known for his role as David Rose in Schitt’s Creek, and he recently starred as Marc opposite Ruth Negga and Himesh Patel in Good Grief.

The most popular TV show on Netflix right now is Wednesday, which has leaped to the #1 spot following the release of the highly anticipated second season. Season 2 viewership numbers were released yesterday, showing that it matched the highly successful first season. Sullivan’s Crossing is also back in the Netflix top 10 following the premiere of Season 3 on the platform. On the movie side of things, K-Pop Demon Hunters has continued its impressive run atop streaming charts, but it’s followed closely by Gerard Butler’s Kandahar, which just arrived on the platform last weekend. Butler also has Gods of Egypt in the Netflix top 10.
Big Mistakes does not yet have an official release date. Stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the project.
